The developers of Zenless Zone Zero have released a new trailer dedicated to Claret, a character who will appear in the game during the first half of patch 3.2.
Claret is the first representative of the new electric gunsmith profession. Claret’s main feature is that the base multipliers for all of her attack skills are defensive indicators.
By attacking opponents, Claret gradually accumulates specialized damage points on them. Once the meter of these points reaches its limit, the enemy is forced into a weakened “wounded” state. If Clarit uses certain skills on the target at this time, she will activate a powerful “Mutilate” trigger. Not only does this deal massive extra damage, it also permanently increases her own Split damage parameter during combat.
In addition, the developers have implemented a stat conversion system: when Claret’s critical strike rate exceeds the 100% threshold, the excess will be converted into additional momentum checks. In this case, instead of standard critical hit damage, the game calculates massive cleavage damage.
