KONAMI has announced a new action game called Rhapsody in Scarlet, featuring magic and spectacular combos. The game is being developed for PC (steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, release dates have not yet been announced. Support for Russian language has not yet been announced.
Rhapsody in Scarlet is a third-person action game set in New York in the 1920s. Protagonist Ellie has recently arrived in town to try to start a career as a jazz singer, but soon becomes embroiled in a story involving the mafia and magic. In her battles, she is aided by her animal companions, with whom she fights using magical abilities and various techniques.
The combat system is based on free combination. Players will be able to combine Ellie’s skills with her beast’s moves to perform a series of attacks. According to the producers, the developers worked hard to make combat dynamic and provide the opportunity to create long and spectacular combinations.
