Orange Pi Series Single Board Computers added Zero 4 model, designed for building a variety of AI-enabled devices running Orange Pi OS (Arch), Ubuntu, Debian, and Android. The new product is available for order now and is expected to retail for $26.50.
This product is based on the Allwinner A733 processor, which includes 2 Arm Cortex-A76 cores with a main frequency of up to 2GHz, 6 Arm Cortex-A55 cores with a main frequency of 1.79GHz, and 1 real-time RISC-V E902 core with a main frequency of 200MHz. The chip includes the Imagination Technologies BXM-4-64 MC1 graphics unit supporting OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.3 and OpenCL 3.0, as well as modules capable of decoding 8Kp24 H.265/VP9/AVS2 footage and encoding 4Kp30 H.265/H.264. In addition, there is a neural processing unit (NPU) with a performance of 3 TOPS.

Depending on modifications, the single-board computer can be equipped with 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 GB LPDDR5/LPDDR4/LPDDR4x, with a 16 GB option also coming in the future. It can install eMMC modules with capacities of 8, 16 or 32GB, and UFS 3.0 flash memory chips with capacities of 32, 64 or 128GB. There is a microSD card slot. The device includes a 1GbE RJ45 network controller (MotorComm YT8531C), Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 adapter (Cdtech 20800D8-00).
Images can be displayed on two monitors simultaneously via Mini HDMI 2.0 (4Kp60) and USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt mode; 4Kp60) interfaces. Implemented two MIPI CSI interfaces (4 lanes), a PCIe 3.0 x1 FPC connector, a 26-pin GPIO connector supporting 17 × GPIO, 4 × UART, 3 8 I2C, 1 × SPI, and a 13-pin connector function supporting 8 × GPIO, I2S, USB, IR Rx, etc. (5V/3A) Powered via USB Type-C auxiliary connector.
