Studio Shiro Games has shared details of the September update for sandbox MMO SpaceCraft, which will bring massive changes to the company’s systems. Players will receive a new recruitment committee, the ability to create a one-person company and transfer it to a multi-person company, separate ratings for different types of associations, and personal messages to communicate with potential candidates.
First, a recruitment board will appear in the game. Business leaders will be able to design their own cards that include their event description, logo and other information to help attract new attendees. Players looking for the right company will be able to view available options and compare based on number of employees, ship class, description and other parameters.
It will also be easier for developers to find new features. Even if players are already members of the association, they can open recruitment pages for other companies. You can also submit your application there. Business leaders will have the tools to compare candidates and select the right participants.
These changes will also affect users who prefer single-player gaming. For them in particular, a simplified company interface will be added, showing only information relevant to their own activities. A one-person company can later be converted to a multi-player company if the player decides to invite additional members. Reverse conversion is not possible.
Separate ratings will also be created for single-person and multi-person companies. Developers say this should separate the two development formats and provide them with conditions to compare their respective results.
The September update will include a private messaging system. Players will be able to communicate with each other, including discussing conditions for joining a company and other issues that don’t necessarily need to be discussed in general chat. Private messaging only works between players in the same quadrant.
The author points out that the changes listed only form part of the September update. The team has previously discussed workbench improvements, craft balancing, technology development and new construction. The exact release date of the update has not yet been announced.
