State and Revolution: Victoria 3’s next addition will lead Russia into an era of dictatorship and decadence

Publisher Paradox Interactive and developers Paradox Development Studio declare A new addition to its global strategy Victoria 3. This plugin has a Russian flavour.

The expansion is called “State and Revolution” and will take control of the vast Russian Empire in an era of dictatorship, revolution, and decadence. Announcement trailer Attached below.

Players will be able to suppress or lead popular uprisings, participate in the Russian Revolution, fight in the Civil War, aid the Communist government, or establish another regime.

Among other things, the DLC includes the mechanic of designating favorites, the possibility (but this is not certain) of exiled revolutionaries to Siberia to maintain power, and dynamic diary entries that change depending on the strength of the tsar’s power.

They also promise story content, historical figures, visuals for different seasons, new looks for buildings, an improved interface and thematic soundtracks for Poland and other countries dreaming of breaking away from the empire.

It is understood that “State and Revolution” will be released on October 22, 2026, priced at $15 (619 rubles). This add-on is also available as part of Volume 3 content and costs $48 (2929 rubles).

“Victoria 3” will be released on October 25, 2022 steam (Russian segment before September 10 was 914 rubles). The game has received 41,000 “mostly positive” reviews from users (71%) and high scores from critics (81%) metacritic).
