Battlefield 6 developers are preparing changes to Crane Reef’s breakout mode, which is currently balanced too heavily in favor of defenders. These innovations should provide attackers with more opportunities to advance and bypass defensive positions.
As part of the update, developers will modify the boundaries of captured zones and the locations of some objectives, and areas will gain additional flanking attack routes. In particular, they will expand the ability to use ships so that attackers can bypass defensive positions from the water. They will also change the spawn points and vehicle availability for both teams, aiming to make combat more dynamic and even.

In addition, the team is studying the spawn camp issue in the “Aircraft Carrier Strike” mode, where players are suppressed almost immediately after appearing. Additional tweaks are promised to be announced in the full description of the update. Meanwhile, a two-week event will kick off at the end of September to commemorate the first anniversary of Battlefield 6. Players will find challenges and rewards in a regularly rotating playlist. At the same time, Project “Phantom” will return to REDSEC, tasked with searching for intelligence and breaking into Lindenberg’s security systems.
