Action role-playing game Code Vein 2 is preparing a major free update 2.0, which will add a Battle Rush mode called Trials of Remembrance to the project. This innovation will allow players to fight a series of memorable bosses from the main campaign and challenge opponents in upcoming expansions.
The patch will be available to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC owners on September 9, along with the release of the Idris Mask Story DLC. At the same time, the developers note that fighting the add-on bosses in the new mode will require players to train to the max, as they will have to attempt it without the special gear included in the DLC.
The update will be released on the same day as the add-on, offering new locations and companions. However, the author recommends that you familiarize yourself with the content of the extension so that you are ready for testing.
