Well-known insider NateTheHate reports that Insomniac Games studio’s Venom project is still in active development. Previously, fans speculated that the game would be shut down due to a massive data leak in 2023 and the death of voice actor Tony Todd.
Questions about the project’s status were raised earlier when Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier denied actor Najee Jeter’s comments about the development closing. Against this backdrop, anonymous rumors surfaced online from a Reddit user claiming to be an employee of the studio. According to him, the protagonist will be Eddie Brock and the plot will focus on the confrontation with Carnage.
Insiders claim Tony Todd managed to record all of his lines before his tragic death. Insomniac Games itself has yet to officially announce the game, nor reveal its release date.
