Publisher Electronic Arts continues to shut down servers for older projects, and this time Grid Legends, the racing arcade game from Codemasters studio, is under attack. The game’s online portion on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox will officially cease to exist on September 11th.
Released in 2022, the project will lose all online functionality and multiplayer modes on most platforms. However, unlike many other EA game services, the single-player campaign and offline content remain fully playable after servers are shut down.
However, the latest version for mobile devices, VR, and Nintendo Switch 2 will continue to work as before. The company continues to update its list of closed projects regularly, and the next major closure will be NBA Mobile 26 at the end of October.
