Rockstar North development manager Rob Nelson confirmed that the upcoming crime action game “GTA 6” will use a deep system to simulate the protagonist’s vital signs. An in-game app will track Lucia and Jason’s fatigue levels, directly affecting their stat recovery.
Beyond the need for characters to go to bed on time, the game will continue and expand on Red Dead Redemption 2’s concept of fitness. Protagonists will be able to gain weight from overeating or lose muscle mass without exercise, with nightly criminal attacks reflected on their faces.
Additionally, the ability to refuel a car and study satirical social networks directly within a virtual smartphone was known to be necessary before the game was scheduled to be released in just two months. At the same time, the developers decided to abandon the idea of forcing players to regularly replenish their refrigerator supplies.
