Konami may be planning a third game series based on Metal Gear Solid. If this does come to fruition, Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance should appear on current-gen consoles for the first time.

“I don’t want to say too much here, but I’ve been told – please don’t make a big deal out of it because it’s probably nonsense. […]The idea is to have a third [Master Collection] Revenge and a revised version of Part V as it never received an elaborate console release. I think it’s still going to be great on PC,” Miller said on the podcast.
If his sources are correct, the Master Collection Vol. Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance 3 may be coming to current consoles for the first time. Additionally, Konami may also include updated game versions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes in the bundle.
A third such classics bundle will likely be the last part of the Master Collection, Miller continued: “Part three will be the last one they can do because they’ve covered all the games; then they’ll see what comes next – like Delta Remastered and so on. But, yeah, I think it’s good that Metal Gear Solid is at this point again.”
Whether this reporter and his sources are correct remains to be seen. Konami has not officially announced this news yet. Of course, we’ll keep you updated!
