Publisher Capcom reported that Onimusha: Kendo sold 1 million copies in just 24 hours after its release. In 2024, Capcom conducted an audience survey on the publisher’s favorite series, and the only series in the TOP 5 that had not had new parts for more than 10 years was Dino Crisis.
