Acer, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is bringing a range of new products to IFA 2026 – from a gaming console concept that transforms into a mini-laptop, to ultra-light laptops and compact workstations equipped with Nvidia RTX Spark chips. There are also more practical devices: the more maintainable Vero 16 laptop, new gaming monitors with frequencies up to 1000 Hz, tablets. The company suddenly revived the Packard Bell brand.

Game console that turns into a laptop

One of Acer’s most unusual exhibits was Project DualPlay Mini, a Predator-branded concept gaming device in which Acer attempted to combine a portable gaming console and a small computer in one gadget.

DualPlay Mini features an 8-inch screen mounted on a rotating hinge. In portable console mode, users receive a traditional form factor and familiar controls (buttons on either side of the screen). If you open the case and flip the display over, the device turns into a mini-laptop with a backlit physical keyboard. Acer particularly emphasizes that the keyboard is also designed for games, and it will be more convenient to use WASD to use common PC controls in games. If necessary, the DualPlay Mini can be connected to an external monitor and used as a desktop computer.

The concept car uses an Intel platform, but Acer did not specify the processor model. It features a dual-fan cooling system and proprietary Predator AeroBlade metal fans. Overall, while the DualPlay Mini looks interesting, its practicality is still questionable: the gadget is very heavy and bulky. But it will still find its users. Of course, should it be released, Acer stresses that it’s just a concept at the moment, and as you know, concepts don’t always turn into finished products.

Predator Atlas 7 is a small but powerful gaming console

Unlike DualPlay Mini, Predator Atlas 7 is already a mass product. This is a more compact version of the previously launched 8-inch Atlas 8 model: it features a 7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

In the highest configuration, the device comes with Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, Intel Arc B390 graphics card, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB SSD. Acer installed two fans, one of which is a metal Predator AeroBlade, and the battery capacity reaches 80Wh. At the same time, the device is very compact, weighing less than 750 grams in the version with an 80 Wh battery.

The older version also offered sticks with TMR sensors, which should provide more precise control and eliminate drift issues.

799g Swift Blade 14

One of Acer’s most practical new products is the Swift Blade 14. This 14-inch laptop weighs only 799 grams and has a case thickness of 12.9 mm. The body is made of magnesium aluminum alloy and carbon fiber. Lightweight and compact, this new product is very convenient for those who frequently carry their laptops and use them outside the home or office.

At the same time, Acer isn’t turning this into the most stripped-down typewriter: this laptop offers up to an Intel Core 7 350 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. This display uses a 3K OLED matrix with coverage of up to 100% DCI-P3 color space. A 50 Wh battery is responsible for autonomous operation. There are three USB Type-Cs and a Full HD webcam with a physical shutter.

Meanwhile, Acer launched the larger Swift Air 14 and Swift Air 16. The first model is also equipped with a 14-inch screen, and the second model is equipped with a 16-inch 3K OLED. Both offer all-aluminum chassis and Intel Core 300 processors.

Nvidia’s minicomputer with huge AI ambitions

Another interesting exhibit is the Acer SFF RTX Spark. This is a compact desktop computer based on the new Nvidia RTX Spark platform. Unlike most modern PCs with AI capabilities, here we’re not just talking about a small NPU for native Windows AI capabilities, but a very serious computing system designed, among other things, to run large AI models directly on the computer.

The platform combines a 6144-core Blackwell RTX GPU, a 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU, and up to 128 GB of unified memory. Acer claims a performance of up to 1 petaflops in artificial intelligence tasks. The machine is primarily aimed at developers, content creators and users who want to run agent-based artificial intelligence systems locally without sending material to the cloud.

Acer has yet to announce a start date for the RTX Spark devices, as well as how much the new products will cost as shown.

Acer makes an easy-to-repair laptop

Against the backdrop of the concept and record-breaking features, the Acer Vero 16 laptop looks rather mundane, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting. This is already the fourth generation of the Eco series, but this time Acer has clearly redesigned the design from a maintainability perspective.

The laptop’s bottom cover can be removed without tools thanks to a special latch. Users can replace the battery and SSD, and the external connection port cover and hinge are removable for easier maintenance of related components. Moreover, Acer claims that the processor can be upgraded for at least two generations. The case itself even has visual instructions telling you how to use the components inside.

At the same time, the Vero 16 cannot be called a simple budget laptop. In the highest configuration, it is equipped with a powerful Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, up to 32GB LPDDR5X, and a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a frequency of 120Hz. There’s Wi-Fi 7, two Thunderbolt 4s, and a 71 Wh battery. The body is MIL-STD-810H certified and uses recycled aluminum and plastic in its construction.

Laptops with 3D screens that don’t require special glasses

Another unusual new product is the Aspire G 3D 16 laptop. This is a 16-inch model using SpatialLabs technology, which allows you to view 3D images without the need for special glasses.

The system uses two cameras to track eye position and adjust the user’s image. Additionally, Acer promises to convert regular 2D content into 3D. The resolution of the screen itself is 3840×2400 pixels in normal mode and 1920×2400 pixels in 3D mode, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

The internals are very powerful: AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, paired with powerful integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, up to 128 GB LPDDR5X and 2 TB SSD. There’s also an RGB keyboard with dedicated WASD keys and a massive 99.9 Wh battery.

1000 Hz gaming monitor

Acer has never ignored gamers. The most notable new product in this category is the Predator XB253Q U1, Acer’s first gaming monitor with a 1000 Hz refresh rate.

This is a 24.5-inch IPS monitor with Full HD resolution, a claimed response time of 0.3 milliseconds, and VRB Pro technology. This monitor is primarily designed for esports, where maximum refresh speed is more important than high resolution. Supports AMD FreeSync Premium and compatible with Nvidia G-Sync.

At the same time, Acer has launched more general models: the 31.5-inch Predator X32 V3 with QD-OLED screen, 4K resolution, 180Hz frequency, and Nitro XV275X P with 5K resolution, 165Hz frequency, and Mini LED backlight. The Predator XB273K V7 offers 27-inch, 4K and 165 Hz, while the Nitro XV275U Z2 offers 1440p and 275 Hz on the same diagonal.

E-paper, triple portable monitors, tablets, mini PCs and scooters

For work, Acer brought the EP130K – a portable monitor with a screen that mimics the look of paper. Supports touch and stylus, with a resolution of 3200×2400 pixels. There are color and black and white modes, and thanks to e-ink technology, the image remains even when the power is turned off.

The PD163Q P3 looks more interesting. This is a foldable design with three 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screens. Using a USB-C cable, you can connect them to your laptop and get workspace for four monitors simultaneously.

This tablet range includes the Iconia X16 and X14, as well as the newer Iconia A16 and A14. The older X model comes with an OLED screen, Android 16 and a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, two USB Type-C ports, and the ability to connect a keyboard and stylus.

The Veriton RI110 AI mini computer based on Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and Intel Arc B390 graphics card has appeared in the enterprise field. Acer claims to be able to use AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, up to 96 GB of memory, and up to 4 TB of SSD. There is also OCuLink for connecting more powerful external components.

Finally, Acer continues to develop the direction of electric transportation: it showed the Predator ES Thunder Pro electric scooter at IFA, equipped with a 500W rear motor, 1600W peak power, 10-inch off-road tires and a traction control system. The product will be available in Europe in the first quarter of 2027, with prices starting at €799.

Legendary Packard Bell brand revitalized for centenary year

Acer’s decision to revive the Packard Bell brand, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026, also deserves special attention. The company launched a variety of products under its old name, led by the 14.5-inch DotBook laptop. In addition, the series will include DotBass headphones, DotLook audio glasses, DotLoop portable players, DotTune speakers, DotLine button phones and accessories.

At IFA 2026, Acer clearly decided not to limit itself to the next update of laptops and other devices, but to showcase its advanced experimental solutions. The 799-gram Swift Blade 14 laptop and the serviceable Vero 16 look particularly interesting. The DualPlay Mini hybrid portable gaming console looks more like a tech demo so far, but the concept could translate into a production device in the future.
