Capcom has revealed Arjun, who will be the second new fighter to support the fourth year of fighting game Street Fighter 6. The character will appear in the game on October 13, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Arjun is a police officer in India, but after killing his partner, he is accused of a crime he did not commit. Now the hero is hiding from persecution and trying to find out the circumstances of his comrade’s death. In combat, he uses special yogic breathing techniques to sacrifice speed for powerful attacks that deal recovery damage even when blocked.
Arjun’s moveset is built around space control, grabs, and damage recovery attacks. His main abilities are as follows (official name translation may vary):
- hand of justice – Spin punch consumes the opponent’s energy. The attack power changes the properties of the move, and you can then perform additional attacks.
- brutal shoulder blow – Attack forward with your shoulders. The properties of the movement depend on the selected attack power.
- ring of breath – Arjun creates a ring of air in front of himself and fires it forward as a projectile. The flight angle depends on the strength of the attack.
- respiratory shock wave – A continuation of “Breathing Circle” that allows you to send the created circle forward.
- divine pillar ——Arjun directed his breath to the ground, and a huge stone pillar rose from it. The strength of the attack determines where it appears, and holding down the button delays activation.
- beyond justice – If Brutal Shoulder Strike collides with an activated Divine Pillar, Arjun will grab a rock and swing it towards the opponent.
- A gruesome interrogation – Team Robbery only deals recoverable damage. If the enemy has accumulated this damage, this move will convert it into normal damage.
- unwavering protection – Defensive stance, allowing Arjun to automatically counterattack after being hit in melee combat. Counterattacks deal recoverable damage.
- moral turpitude – Continuing with “Indestructible Defense”, attack with two fists. This skill causes recovery damage after blocking and normal damage when hitting.
- Howl destructive attack – Level 1 Super Move, Arjun uses powerful exhales to perform a series of rapid attacks.
- momentary forgetfulness ——The second level super move, throws the enemy into the air and throws him far away. After that, Arjun got the opportunity to install the “divine pillar”.
- Order of Yaksha – The third level super move, Arjun affects the opponent’s inner ear before powerful finishing attack.
Arjun will be the second grade 4 character to be released, following the previous addition of Yasmine. Upcoming fighters also include Tifa and Boss from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series.
