Playground Games has officially confirmed that the PlayStation 5 version of racing action game Forza Horizon 6 is still scheduled to release in 2026, despite recent rumors suggesting it could be delayed. The developer urged fans to keep an eye out for the news, hinting that an exact release date will be announced soon.
Many experts say that a formal announcement will likely be made at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from September 17 to 21, especially since the game was first announced at the same event a year ago.
Meanwhile, on PC and Xbox Series X/S, the project continues to receive updates: the game recently launched a Series 5 update, which added a new competitive Drift Attack mode focused on controlled gliding skills.
