Mist Hunters has decided to modify the current gear restrictions to make matchmaking fairer and provide a more diverse gaming experience at different difficulty levels. The team is currently considering two options for changes.
For the Hallowgrove location on Chaos difficulty, it is recommended to increase the allowed equipment quality limit to Epic level (inclusive). Meanwhile, for Brandrgarde on normal difficulty, they want to set the limit to “Excellent” but add the ability to use the Novice, Advanced, and Pro battle packs. The developers say that such a rule should better differentiate players based on gear level and make matches more balanced.
The team has not yet made a final decision, players are asked to choose the most appropriate option. The developers have launched a poll where you can express your preferences for future restrictions. At the same time, they separately stated that they are prepared to consider any other suggestions and feedback from the community before finalizing the rule changes for both modes.
