Nintendo held its September Nintendo Direct, which made a number of announcements about its Switch 2 console. But there are also multi-platform games at the event, both previously launched games and brand new ones. Dragon Quest Heroes: The Mysterious Labyrinth of Toneco – Classic HD – – Available Now
An updated version of the first game in the Mystery Dungeon series, previously only released in Japan. The project received improved graphics and other changes, and the dungeons themselves changed with each playthrough.
Echo Fade – September 17, 2026
An action game with puzzle elements, where events unfold in a surreal world that reacts to the player’s actions. The protagonist can control water and other elements, create chain reactions and exploit environmental features. The game is already available on PC and will be released on Xbox in September.
Hela: Of Mice and Magic – December 1, 2026 (Game Pass)
The previously announced Game Pass mouse co-op adventure game has a release date. In it, players will explore a fairy tale world inspired by Nordic nature.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Blighted World – December 3, 2026
The latest addition to the popular monster collection series. Players must explore the world, find creatures, train them and combine them to create new monsters. A free demo will be released today on all platforms.
Sonic Peak Park – November 12, 2026
A new part of the PICO PARK series of collaborative puzzles, created to commemorate Sonic’s 35th anniversary. In it, you need to interact with each other and coordinate actions through levels.
Romancing SaGa 3: Destiny United – February 16, 2027
A completely remastered version of the 1995 RPG, featuring new 3D graphics and gameplay improvements.
Eternal Anima – March 4, 2027
A time-traveling RPG from Marvelous in which heroes explore the past, form temporary alliances, and try to change the events that led to disaster.
Metal Slug Ultimate Collection—2027
The series will combine 10 games from the Metal Slug series and will also gain additional features – multiplayer, leaderboards and more.
Ondeh Ondeh Kaya’s delicious story — 2027
An adventure game that combines puzzles, rhythm elements, and combat. Players will have to explore an unusual world, use music to solve problems and fight against a variety of opponents.
Danganronpa 2×2 – January 14, 2027
The new version of Danganronpa 2 will combine the remade story of the original game with a completely new scenario, in which both the murder victim and the murderer have changed. The project was proposed a long time ago; it got a release date as part of the Nintendo Showcase. Previously, the developers discussed in more detail how it differs from the original.
State Fright – No release date
A cooperative adventure for two players, who must explore a strange city together, solve puzzles and learn about the events happening around them. You can play on a console or over the Internet.
