HKC showed off a 27-inch Shield 27Q560 monitor that supports refresh rates up to 1060 Hz. The new product was demonstrated at the IFA 2026 exhibition. This monitor claims to support two operating modes.

The native screen resolution of Shield 27Q560 is 2560×1440 pixels. In this mode, the monitor supports a refresh rate of 560 Hz. Switching to 1280 x 720 pixel resolution increases the maximum update rate to 1060 Hz. Although the Shield 27Q560 competes in the 1000Hz+ monitor category, it’s not the fastest monitor in the world. For example, the recently launched Samsung Odyssey G6 (G60H) supports frequencies up to 1100 Hz.
The Shield 27Q560 is based on an oxide IPS panel with a glossy finish. The display response speed is 1ms (GtG). It supports 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC) and provides 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage. It also claims DisplayHDR 400 certification.
This monitor is equipped with 1 DisplayPort 2.1 connector (unspecified bandwidth) and 2 HDMI 2.1. There’s also a USB Type-C for data transfer and charging, with 15 W power and a 3.5mm audio output.
According to TFTCentral reports, HKC will release Shield 27Q560 in China in November this year. The display’s availability in other regions has not yet been confirmed. The price of the monitor has not yet been announced.
