Artificial intelligence tools have made it easier to fill out forms and file complaints, and now government agencies around the world are seeing a surge in complaints. In the UK, complaints to the housing ombudsman have doubled since the launch of ChatGPT. The number of complaints recorded by the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau increased fivefold.
