Hwei, Silas, and Rek’Sai will join League of Legends: Wild Rift in patch 7.3

Hwei, Silas, and Rek’Sai will join League of Legends: Wild Rift in patch 7.3

Riot Games announced that the 7.3 update “Stage Call” for the mobile MOBA “League of Legends: Wild Rift” will be released on September 22, 2026. The developers are preparing for the rotating release of three new heroes, a new mode “Raging Rift”, changes in the pace of the game, and a massive overhaul of the ranking system.

The new heroes will be:

  • Hwei – Will take the mid lane and receive a large number of spells designed to deal damage and support allies.
  • Silas will play a high-explosive-damage mage whose famous ability allows him to steal his enemies’ superpowers and use them against his team.
  • Rek’Sai will be a warrior focused on initiating team fights and pursuing goals.

The developers will also speed up the development of the game. Super minions and siege minions will become stronger, and after destroying enemy towers, friendly minions will gain additional attack power and be able to continue attacking. “Kara” will also change. It will deal pure damage over time based on the player’s traits, rather than the previous bonus. In turn, epic monsters will become more persistent, so fighting for them will require more resources from the team.

This update will include a new mode “Rampant Gorge”. Three teams of three players will compete on a symmetrical map. The main focus here is on direct conflict between teams, rather than tower destruction. During the match, you will be able to find Enhancement Stones, which can enhance and change the abilities of your hero.

The level promotion system will also change. The ranking power gained depends not only on the outcome of the match, but also on the player’s actions, taking into account the chosen lane and the role of the champion. A good game and you will be able to gain more energy, which should take more into account your personal contribution to the game. These changes also affect the Legend queue. Players who have previously reached Master level will be able to start the new season more easily, while a new challenge system will accelerate the progression of the strongest players beyond Legend Commander level.
