Hello Games studio releases another blockbuster title renew Universe 7.0 version for the space sandbox No Man’s Sky. As the name suggests, the main changes relate to improvements to outer space gameplay.
First, the game offers the opportunity to become the commander of a space station. Players gain the ability to manage the station, change the interior of the central hall, add new rooms and decorate the outer buildings. A separate system of decorative elements also appears at the station, including hundreds of details.
In space, there are now more reasons to linger after leaving planetary orbit. The new star system map shows celestial bodies, space stations and other objects, including the asteroid belt, derelict ships, space outposts, ice fields and various anomalies. Some of them can be mined for resources, and the materials found can be sold or used in construction.
Additionally, players can now leave their starship and explore such fragments of outer space with full movement in six directions. Valuable technology and cargo can be removed from the ship, but damage to the hull can set off a chain reaction and cause objects to be destroyed. To transport loot, frigates can be equipped with tractor beams.
Freedom to build has also transcended the boundaries of the earth. Players can create orbital bases in open space or use natural asteroid platforms as bases. Space outposts offer trade, maps, and contracts to locate and deliver materials, some of which are contaminated with biological matter and require cleanup.
Another major innovation was the Galactic Alliance. Webmasters can create their own associations and invite other players. A character can be a member of three alliances at the same time, and the most active and largest community will be displayed in the leaderboard.
This update also adds the ability to fly long distances directly to the system’s stars. Getting there is possible, but the heat makes such an expedition deadly. Asteroid fields, clouds, and lighting have been redesigned, planetary terrain details have been improved, and support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and Intel XeSS 3 has been added.
Together with Cosmos, the anniversary adventure “Our Journey Continues” to commemorate the tenth anniversary of “No Man’s Sky” is about to launch. It will take players through the history of the game, with each stage tied to one of the major updates from previous years. Upon completing the game, you can earn memorable rewards, including a gold version of the Rasamama S36 spaceship, a vintage interceptor, a Diplodocus pet, a decorative astronaut statue, and the Starbound v0.27 multi-tool.
