OpenAI and Samsung Electronics are strengthening cooperation in areas ranging from semiconductors to the application of artificial intelligence in large enterprises. Current projects also include co-development of a new generation of chips developed by the company that created ChatGPT.
OpenAI Korea head Harrison Kim confirmed this at a press conference in Seoul. The manager said that the production and research of new wafers is one of the main areas of cooperation between the two companies and that concrete results have been achieved, but did not provide further technical details.
