NVIDIA DLSS 5 NeuroFilter continues to attract the attention of the community with its advanced neural rendering technology, and this time modders have access to Apple’s chips. The developers successfully ported the DLSS 5 neural network to the proprietary Metal framework, connecting the backend to Windows games via ReShade and the latest beta version of Game Porting Toolkit 4. Therefore, the technology is able to run directly on the 16-core GPU of the M5 Pro chip.
So, even in the crutches scene, the filter is more than adequate, but of no practical value – the frame rate is really only slide show level.

Apple M chips don’t have the hardware required for DLSS 5 to run more or less fully, so you shouldn’t expect to get normal performance using this neural filter in this ecosystem.
