Yesterday’s direct presentation brought two announcements for the Persona series on Nintendo Switch 2. Not only is there a new Persona 6 coming to consoles, but there’s also a new version of the Persona 4 revival.
Persona fans will also get their money’s worth on the Nintendo Switch 2 in the future, as two announcements for the Japanese company’s current console were made at yesterday’s Direct conference. First up is the new main installment in the series, Persona 6. While there’s no specific release date, it’s now officially clear that it will also be available for the Nintendo Switch 2.
To prepare you for this release, you can make another character section on Switch 2 ahead of time. The new version of “Persona 4: Resurrection” is still pending, but it will soon be released on the console platform.
“Persona 4 Resurgence” has been confirmed to be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S on February 18, 2027, but Switch 2 players will have to wait a little longer. The release date of the Nintendo console has been confirmed as May 20, 2027. Compared to earlier versions of Persona 3 Reload, the wait time on Switch 2 was significantly lower than on other platforms; back then, you had to wait more than a year and a half after the original’s release for the Switch release.
