Tactical Adventures has released the first major update for its Early Access turn-based role-playing game Solasta II. At the same time, the game also provides an online cooperative mode for four players.

Now, a player can create a session and invite up to three friends to join. Each participant controls their own character, and the group can move together to different locations during exploration. During the conversation, players vote on answer options, after which the majority decision becomes the choice of the entire group. For coordination, special markers also appear that can be used to point to characters and areas on the map.

“Multiplayer is finally here! We know players have been waiting for it, and we want to thank you all for your patience. We love and inspire tabletop role-playing games in our studio to be inherently collaborative experiences shared with friends, so we’re excited to bring that spirit to Solasta II. This release is the first major step in the development of the multiplayer mode. It will continue to evolve during Early Access, and as always, we’ll lean on the creative minds of Solasta II and Tactical Adventures CEO.

The second major innovation is that the Warlock has two subclasses. The new class uses the power of its patron and gains abilities related to it. The game also adds 30 world events, new character appearances, and some player-requested features. Notable among these are the dice rolls that determine character traits and cloud saves. The author also added support for cloud gaming, new key combinations for controllers, and the ability to disable Spelling component rules through GeForce NOW.
