During the game you can choose between each of the three Stillae Related to categories: Sangladis, Tempestar and Veritor. Characters can be renamed and customized by selecting skills, which allow you to interrupt enemy attacks, delay your own spells, deal instant damage, push or pull units onto the battlefield, and more. The management of the timeline therefore represents one of the core elements of the combat system, adopting one of the features already present in Othercide.
The game also incorporates a loop-based roguelike structure. At the end of the game, Stillae gains new skills, traits and development possibilities, with the aim of facing progressively more challenging enemies and bosses. Prior to combat, specific modifiers can also be applied to make the battle more difficult in exchange for more blood, allowing the player to choose whether to risk it or not.
‘Ex Sanguis’ has early access release date and new trailer
At launch in Early Access, Ex Sanguis offers Estimated total duration is five to six hours. The developers plan to expand the game through multiple updates, introducing new bosses, mission configurations and other content, as well as interventions aimed at improving the quality of the experience.
