Apple has updated information on its website to clarify that two features have been temporarily removed from iOS 27; these changes also affect other software platforms – iPadOS 27 and macOS 27. The disappearance of the automatic password change feature was noticed in the fifth beta of iOS 27. In a preliminary release, in the Messages app, the system analyzes the context of communications and provides one-click adding information to Reminders, Notes, or Calendar apps.
This is how Apple describes automatic password changes: “Fix Passwords in One Click: Password App notifies you of weak or compromised passwords and can easily update them on your behalf.”. The application attempts to directly access websites with weak passwords and change them independently. This feature is supported by Apple Intelligence and Safari browsers.
There is currently no more information about when new features will appear in iOS 27. Apple’s website only states that these new features will be available from “Future software updates”.
