Following the recent massive leak of GTA 6 gameplay, which featured the protagonist appearing at a party at a nudist park, fans of the game have identified a possible real-life prototype for the location – the Cypress Bay Naturist Resort in Kissimmee, USA. However, the situation quickly went beyond harmless fan curiosity and turned into a real business issue.
The resort’s Google Maps page is filled with fake reviews mentioning the game, some of which are so provocative that they scare away real guests. It soon became apparent that there was an organized movement behind this: the authors of these reviews began directly requesting funds from the resort owners to demolish them. The agency’s management said it would not succumb to extortion, documented all extortion cases and forwarded the information to the relevant authorities.
