Domestic single-seat electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft has begun mass production in the Kemerovo region. According to the developers, it is currently the first and only production of its kind in Russia, capable of producing up to a hundred cars per year at full capacity. The first five devices are already waiting for customers.
The device is designed with composite material (carbon) and a durable titanium frame. Equipped with eight electric motors, they can reach speeds of 95 km/h (unmanned mode) and can stay in the air for up to half an hour. Onboard electronics can automate up to 90% of the driving process, including stabilization systems, replication of key components and rescue parachutes. It is worth noting that equipment weighing up to 115 kg does not require complex certification according to Russian Federation aviation law and registration through the State Service Portal.
