Today, it seems that the strategy of Total War Shogun 2 has been forgotten by almost everyone, but that is not the case. Like a bolt from the blue, Sega and Creative Assembly announced full version “Shogun 2” will be called the full version of “Total War Shogun 2”.
This version includes the game itself and all additional content released for it, including the story campaigns “Rise of the Samurai” and “Fall of the Samurai.” As for the technical side, in the updated version, the developers promise improved graphics performance, including lighting, shadow and texture resolution, improved control settings, and support for modern screen resolutions (up to 4K). Of course, this situation didn’t exist in 2011, especially not commonly.
Notably, anyone who owns the original Total War Shogun 2 on Steam will receive a 75% discount on the update. The “update” is scheduled to be released on October 13th.
