The developers of CONTROL Resonant have talked about an expanded assist mode that will allow you to change personal combat parameters instead of choosing a ready-made difficulty level. The new system will be particularly useful for those who find the standard game mechanics to be too demanding.
Players will be able to individually adjust enemy aggressiveness, projectile speed, and the duration of the perfect dodge window. They are also able to alter incoming and outgoing damage, the damage rate of enemy toughness, the regeneration of supernatural abilities, and the desirability of unusual weapons in melee combat. There are also more radical options, such as immortality, one-hit kill, and the new one-hit unstable.

Additionally, assist mode works both ways. If the base difficulty seems too soft, you can crank up the parameters: increase enemy aggressiveness, reduce the ideal avoidance window to a few frames, and increase the damage taken. At the same time, settings are always available and achievements using them are not blocked.
CONTROL Resonant will also get a variety of other accessibility options: control remapping, toggle button hold-down, graphics, subtitles, and interface settings, color modes for people with color blindness, filters for players with certain sound sensitivities, and Shift Tunneling to reduce the discomfort of fast movement. The game will be released on September 24th.
