“EVE Online” will release a major update on September 22, which will greatly change normal life in New Eden. Developers will redesign fleet transfers, pirate uprisings, wormholes, and ship balancing.
The main change is Ansiblex. The energy supply for jumping off the bridge is limited and will be restored slowly. Every time a ship passes, energy will be consumed according to the level. The further the destination is from the alliance capital system, the higher the transfer fee. Only members with an alliance can use the bridge, so allies must find their own routes.
Pirate uprisings will be faster and players will have more influence over the direction of corruption. Level 1-3 wormhole combat will be updated: NPCs will become smarter, target messages will be clearer, and old visual elements will be replaced by modern elements. Rampant Drone Fabricator will bring more data, which can be redeemed for new rewards in the Pochven store.
Changes will also affect ships: the Predator and Black Ops battleships will become lighter, some heavy assault cruisers and assault frigates will be improved, and Deimos, Phobos, and Vigilance will regain some of their range. Pochven will change the size of its fleet for a number of events, and in November, the AIR career program will switch to the Paragon Services achievement system.
