Iron Gate has found an unusual way to allow players to earn achievements in Valheim even with console commands enabled. The September update version 1.0 brought 50 new rewards to the game, after which the developers added an interesting exploit for users who use cheats.
To restart trophy hunting, you have to enter a special and comically long command without spaces or punctuation: “yesiuseddevcommandsbutiwantmyachievementsanyway”. In the patch’s description, the authors humorously note that they’re leaving this decision to the player’s conscience, adding that Oden will definitely find out about receiving rewards dishonestly.
Valheim is a survival and exploration simulator for companies of 1 to 10 people. A procedurally generated world awaits you, imbued with the spirit of Scandinavian mythology. Craft devastating weapons, build spacious palaces, defeat powerful monsters, and prove your power to Odin himself!
