Square Enix has shared details about Final Fantasy 14’s upcoming zone matchmaking, which will make it easier to find raid partners.
The feature will begin testing in Japan next month, before being rolled out globally. This innovation will unite worlds within physical data centers – such as Eurolights and Chaos – allowing players to interact with each other.
The update will cover nearly all key elements of the game, including the mission finder, party finder, Crystal Clash ranked mode, as well as cross-server connectivity and PvP commands. There are still restrictions only on systems related to specific worlds: buying housing, working with fixed crews, markets, and postal moogle. Additionally, moving between data centers within the same region will become easier via City Ethereum.
