
Developers at Rockstar Games plan to release Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19th. At this event, they launched “Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album” – a music album containing 34 original compositions created specifically for the project. It will also be released on vinyl and CD on November 19th.
The album will include works from performers from different genres and countries. Rockstar has yet to reveal the full tracklist, but has confirmed participation from Yung Lean, Travis Scott, CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso, Pink Panthers, Fred Again…, Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards. Future and Metro Boomin will also appear on different tracks, one of which will be produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
The album will be available for purchase in three editions. The classic CD is priced at $19.98, the basic vinyl version is priced at $49.98, and the limited edition is priced at $124.98. The latter will receive two clear purple discs with blue liquid inside that move when the record is rotated, as well as unique design and packaging. The album can also be added to waitlists on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and other services.
Rockstar emphasized that “Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album” will contain songs written specifically for the game. Meanwhile, in addition to these tracks, the project itself will feature a wealth of licensed music.
