Netflix seems finally ready to start marketing the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Sorcerer’s Nephew: On X, the streaming service has shared an animated logo featuring the film’s title.

He also included a photo of director and screenwriter Greta Gerwig, best known for the hit “Barbie,” on the set of the film. The film was shot in London and other cities in the UK and wrapped earlier this year. Not much is known about the film adaptation of the Clive Staples Lewis series.

It is Netflix’s first feature film to have a wide theatrical release (outside the United States it will be handled by Sony Pictures), including IMAX: this will be released on February 12, 2027, while The Chronicles of Narnia: The Sorcerer’s Nephew will be released to online theater subscribers on April 2. The massive budget of over $2 million obviously has something to do with it. Jadis, the future White Witch, is played by Emma McKee (Sex Education); the film stars Hollywood stars including Daniel Craig and Meryl Streep.
