According to unofficial sources, the first Googlebook models from Acer, Asus and Lenovo feature thin and light bodies and multiple ports. All three models feature an LED light strip on the outside of the lid. This design element may be a reference to the LED lights on the 2013 Chromebook Pixel, forming a single, recognizable symbol for Google projects.

Computers are aimed at the high-end market. According to previous leaks, Googlebook comes from Lenovo is equipped with a 15.3-inch OLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor; the Asus CX9406 model will be equipped with up to 16 GB of memory; the Acer version will be equipped with a 14-inch OLED display and an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or Ultra processor. Lenovo may also launch a tablet with a detachable keyboard to complement the Googlebook series. Googlebooks are officially available for pre-order on September 21; the line is expected to be supplemented by HP and Dell models.
