Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the long-awaited official soundtrack collection for the action game. The digital and physical versions of the main game will go on sale on November 19, 2026. To shorten the wait for sales to begin, the publisher has released the first six singles All common streaming platforms Unlocked. At the same time, an exclusive collector’s edition vinyl record and CD were also announced, available for pre-order in stores now.
Background music has always been a core foundation of the Grand Theft Auto series, and radio stations in the game world have contributed greatly to the contemporary atmosphere and active game world. Rockstar Games is set in the fictional American state of Leonidas and relies on a diverse cast of top musicians.
Pre-release singles already released include star-studded collaborations such as “That’s It,” featuring Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin, and the Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo-produced song “RHYNO,” which was produced by Travis Scott. The first wave also includes releases from country star Morgan Wallen, Latin artist Rauw Alejandro, PinkPantheress and Fred teaming up again… and a surprising new record from Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
In addition to digital availability in streaming media, the publisher also exclusively serves the physical collector market. The soundtrack album was released on multiple CD recordings and on multi-part vinyl. Limited special editions of these records include prints color-coordinated with the in-game design and an extensive accompanying booklet with concept art of the game world.
The album was released to coincide with the game’s release on November 19, with Rockstar Games emphasizing that it is marketing Grand Theft Auto VI not just as a video game, but also as an important pop culture event. The early release of the first six tracks is a targeted start to the final marketing phase ahead of global release on current generation consoles.
