Psychological adventure game UN:Me will not be released in 2026. Publisher Shueisha Games and studio historia announced that the game has been delayed until 2027, promising to announce an exact release date later. The developers explained the delay as a desire to improve a key part of the project – the interaction with the four souls that live inside the protagonist’s body. The team hopes to make each character’s movements, facial expressions, and behaviors more expressive so that players can tell them apart through more than just their lines. Motion capture is also used for this purpose.
In the story, a girl wakes up in a mysterious spiritual maze. Inside are four human souls, each with their own desires, personalities, and traumas. They can suddenly take control of their bodies, changing available actions, dangers, and methods of exploration.
