At Gamescom 2026, a new story trailer for co-op shooter Turok: Origins premiered. Saber Interactive, in conjunction with Universal Products & Experiences, is presenting an expanded version of the film dedicated to the history and battles of the future project. The game is expected to be released in spring 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Turok: Origins takes place in the Lost Lands, where the Order of Turok attempts to save humanity from the threat of Xenia. Players will not only battle the dinosaurs that have become iconic of the series, but also alien opponents. In the game, you can complete the story alone or team up with friends. Combat will take place from a combination of first- and third-person perspectives, and the arsenal will include plasma rifles, sniper weapons, bows, shotguns, and experimental alien technology.
Heroes can also collect Echoes and unlock new abilities to customize their fighting style. Exploration in the Lost Lands will take place in ancient ruins, lush jungles, and alien locations where the developers are hiding all kinds of secrets. Enemies include dinosaurs, alien forces, and big bosses that require skill and teamwork to defeat.
