Tokyo Game Show 2026 wouldn’t be complete without RGG Studio and SEGA’s action game “Stranger Than Heaven,” which will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX series on January 15, 2027.
But the project’s eponymous theme song, performed by Snoop Dogg, Satoshi Fujiwara (“Blue Box,” “SPY×FAMILY”), Hodor (“One Piece: Red,” “Devil’s Crown”) and Tori Kelly, will be released before the end of the year. In case anyone forgot, all four of these guys also played Strangers in Paradise.
The developers showed off (starting at 1:10:10) the game’s intro and plot for about ten minutes in total, then went through show business, fights, and five eras/locations: Ogura, Fukuoka, 1915; Kure, Hiroshima, 1929; Minami-ku, Osaka, 1943; Atami, Shizuoka, 1951, and the fictional Kamurocho district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, 1965 (Greetings from the Yakuza).
