Xbox’s Canadian studio The Coalition propose The final system requirements for adventure shooter Gears of War: E-Day have been announced and the game has reached an important stage of development.

Gears of War: E-Day Appetite comes in three configurations. Resolution and performance targets are based on the upscaler, not the game’s support for hardware ray tracing.

The system requirements for playing Gears of War: E-Day without ray tracing are as follows:

Minimum requirements (1080p, 60 fps, medium graphics settings, upscaler enabled)

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6850K/i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X;
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 / RTX 5050 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 / RX 9060;
  • Display memory: 6 GB;
  • Memory: 12GB;
  • DirectX version: 12;
  • SSD space: 115 GB.

Recommended requirements (1440p, 60+ fps, high graphics settings, upscaler enabled)

  • Operating system: Windows 11 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600;
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti / RTX 5060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT / RX 9060 XT;
  • Display memory: 8 GB;
  • Memory: 116GB;
  • DirectX version: 12;
  • SSD space: 115 GB.

Ultra high requirements (4K, 60+ fps, ultra high graphics settings, upscaler enabled)

  • Operating system: Windows 11 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D;
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT;
  • Memory: 12 GB;
  • Memory: 116GB;
  • DirectX version: 12;
  • SSD space: 115 GB.

The PC version of Gears of War: E-Day will feature support for ultrawide displays, HDR, Nvidia DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 4.0 and Intel Xess 3.0t upscalers, reflections, shadows and ray-traced lighting, as well as built-in benchmarks.

As for the important development stages, Gears of War: E-Day has entered its prime – the main part of development has been completed, and the final version of the master has been sent for printing and download to digital stores.

Gears of War: E-Day will be released on PC on October 6 (steam, microsoft store), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. They promise a 14-hour campaign, graphics on Unreal Engine 5, translation into Russian, and will be available to Premium buyers starting October 1st.
