“Path of Exile 2” has added a batch of appearance effects that will significantly change the appearance and abilities of heroes. Now you can transform into a polar bear, try out a snow leopard look, or literally knock down your enemies with stone pillars.
The main new product is the Path of the Stonefist set. It includes a suit of armor, character appearance, stick effects, sprinting and tumbling skills. The visual theme is all about rock control: the hero lifts giant blocks from the ground and knocks them down onto his opponents. For fans of a more grim aesthetic, a polar bear transformation effect is already available, transforming the character into a giant polar bear, while the Snow Leopard werewolf transformation skin changes the werewolf’s shape into a spotted snow predator.
The range of effects has also been expanded to include the Aurora Frost Bomb with a brilliant Northern Lights explosion, the Radiant Grenade with Electric Discharge, and the Phantom Crossbow skill with ghostly blue energy. Other skins already in the store include the Chaos Birth Mystic Skill, the Obsidian Frost Skill, the Verisium Crossbow Skill, and the Vampiric Crossbow Skill. It seems that Vrejclast is slowly becoming a place where even killing monsters requires a visual style to match.
