Warhammer 40,000: Undertide is getting five new weapons in a free update

Warhammer 40,000: Undertide is getting ready to expand its arsenal with new guns and heavy weapons. The upcoming free update will include three new models and several variations of already familiar barrels.

Ogryn’s main new product will be a two-handed hammer crusher. His slamming attack is great for clearing out crowds, while his special attack turns into a powerful single-target attack. The hits get stronger the longer you hold the button down, but the weapon is slow – missing out on such a giant is particularly off-putting. The second new option for Ogrin is the Thugshot, a shotgun that fires a single shot. It deals massive damage and is useful against dangerous targets at medium to long range.

Human classes other than Arbiters will get Pump Hunters. It feels similar to the Destroyer shotgun, but fires more slowly and with more power, while still being effective around mid-range. A feature of this model is a built-in flashlight instead of special ammunition. Additionally, the arsenal will be supplemented by the Crusher Crook Mk VII, which produces a more powerful explosion on special attack, but then has a cooldown.

Rounding out the series is the double-barreled shotgun Krourk Mk IV, which has a narrower range and improved mid-range performance, and a new Slab Shield variant of the Ogryn with a redesigned light attack. The developer notes that all five models have been around as ideas for a long time, and a free update is the perfect time to finally release them into the game.

In Warhammer 40,000: Undertide, something is clearly wrong: infected enemies flood the streets, and entire areas of Tertium are cut off from the invasion. Players must fight their way through waves of enemies and find out how far the infection has spread.
