The action game about a blond cheerleader chainsaw Lollipop will be officially adapted into an R-rated feature film. The news was announced at the Tokyo Game Show, where the creators of Dragami Games announced a collaboration with an international production team that includes industry veterans from the United States, Europe, and Asia.
The plot of the film will unfold before the events of the 2012 original game, telling the story of Juliet Starling, a schoolgirl cheerleader from a family of professional zombie hunters. The author promises to retain the original source’s unique style, satire, and signature frenetic action to create a standalone work for both loyal fans and new audiences.
