Season 2 of “Alya Sometimes Flirts with Me in Russian” won’t air until 2027, but Doga Kobo (“Starchild”) has at least begun sharing snippets of the romantic comedy sequel.
However, this is just a trailer, so they’re showing off quite a bit. No one was willing to reveal a premiere date for the new episodes. It is worth mentioning that director Hiroshi Haraguchi (“Laughter Under the Clouds”, “Eureka 7”) and screenwriter Yuka Yamada (“Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid”) were promoted from the series to replace Ryota Ito (“My Girlfriend Isn’t Just Cute”).
As for the original paper adventure book by Alisa Mihalovna Kujo of the Private Refining Academy, Kadokawa also reported that the total global book circulation reached 5.5 million copies. In Russia, the anime is officially released, and on the bookshelves you can find comics about the great and powerful, but the light novels released about three years ago have been lost somewhere.
