Japanese developer and publisher Taito announced Lufia I & II The Sinistrals Legendthis collection will bring together the first two chapters JRPG Lufia series Originally published in the 1990s. The collection will be available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PC (on Steam) in 2027. In the West, it will be published by Clear River Games.

The series includes Lufia and the Fortress of Doom and Lufia II: Rise of Sinestras, two games originally released on the Super Nintendo and most remembered for their stories and soundtracks, considered particularly evocative. According to the published description Steam pagethe game is “Carefully converted and improved for modern platforms”, with the aim of reproposing the original experiences by adapting them to the current system.
Episode 1, Lufia and the Doomsday FortressThe story of a young descendant of a legendary hero and a girl who finds herself forced to face the weight of her own destiny. The story takes place in a world threatened by the Sinistranians and represents the beginning of a legend.

Lufia II: The Rise of Sinestra Instead, it’s a prequel that tells the story of Maxime, a young man destined to become a legendary hero, and his companions. The story once again revolves around the themes of conflict and destiny with the Sinistrans, recounting the events that preceded the first chapter.
