Insomniac Games community director James Stevenson has denied rumors of using generative artificial intelligence in the creation of Marvel’s action-adventure film Wolverine. The reason discussed on social networks is that the bathroom textures bear deformation marks, which many players mistakenly believe to be the work of neural networks.

Stevenson explained that the strange image of a man and woman on the door is a common UV mapping error rather than the result of artificial intelligence generation, and promised to fix the bug in the next update. After the game’s release on PlayStation 5, developers continued to work out kinks and received mixed reviews from critics and players.
