AMD’s market capitalization exceeded the $1 trillion mark for the first time in history. Today, the company’s shares rose to a record high of $613.92, with AMD itself becoming the fourth U.S. chipmaker to reach that level, after Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron.
The main growth factor remains investor interest in artificial intelligence. AMD is aggressively expanding its data center and artificial intelligence businesses, offering not just standalone accelerators but also complex systems that include processors, networking equipment and software. At the same time, the company is improving its position in the server processor market.
At the same time, for ordinary users, there will be many fewer new products in 2026. AMD has yet to launch Ryzen and its new Zen 6 architecture for next-gen Radeon. On the consumer side, the company has limited itself to products based on already familiar architectures, with key demos increasingly dedicated to the Instinct accelerator, Helios system and ROCm platform.
