After a long silence, Chrono Studio publish MMORPG Chrono Odyssey Developer Notes Sixth Edition. In the article, the team talks about the current state of the game and confirms that a large part of the current work has to do with optimizing the PC version. During closed beta, players frequently experienced frame rate drops, crashes, and issues even on high-end computers.
The studio continues to carry out internal optimization, while attracting experts from the Quasar Zone community dedicated to computer hardware and technology for testing. Together, they tested Chrono Odyssey on various hardware configurations to identify performance bottlenecks and other issues that could impact gameplay.
During the test, experts will analyze the stability of parameters such as frame rate and image processing speed. These parameters may vary depending on computer configurations. Quasar Zone has previously tested the performance of many well-known games, so the developers wanted to gain a more complete understanding of how Chrono Odyssey behaves on different systems.
Work on the game isn’t limited to optimizing the PC version. The team also worked on character movement and animation, control reactions, control schemes and interfaces. The developers promise to reveal more details about these changes in the next version of the developer diary.
“We know many of you have been waiting for new details about Chrono Odyssey, and we’ve been following the discussions, questions, and feedback you’ve shared. We sincerely thank everyone who continues to follow the game and support it,” the developers concluded.
“Chrono Odyssey” is scheduled to be released in the second season in 2027.
